My Story, Your Next Step

Updated: May 28

I’m a business strategy and leadership consultant, certified coach, and someone who knows the weight of trying to “do it all”—in work, in life, and everywhere in between.

I’ve sat at boardroom tables, led strategic change, and helped organizations reimagine how they lead, communicate, and develop people. My work is grounded in real-world experience, adult learning theory, and a deep understanding of what drives human behavior.

But not all leadership happens in a boardroom. For years, my desk was a kitchen table with kids running around—or the front seat of my car, wedged between school drop-offs and extracurriculars. I’ve balanced client work with family life, often showing up for both when it wasn’t convenient or easy. I’ve chaired events, volunteered through every season, and lived in that space where ambition meets overcommitment for more years than I care to admit.

For over two decades, I’ve coached people—formally and informally—through transition, misalignment, and personal growth. I help clients connect the dots between their values, beliefs, and behavior—because when those are out of sync, everything starts to feel off.

I hold an MBA and certifications in DISC and life/business coaching, but more than that, I bring lived experience. I know what it’s like to lead a team and a family, to chase big goals while trying not to lose yourself in the process.

Owning Your Influence is about helping you stop waiting for the perfect time, title, or plan—and start showing up for your next level now. Whether you’re leading a team, building a business, raising a family, or simply trying to stay true to yourself in the middle of a full life, this is your space to get clear, realign, and grow.

My hope is that this blog helps more people discover their purpose and their plan—in what they’re doing now or what they’re preparing to step into. I believe each of us was created with gifts that were meant to be shared. “We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us.” (Romans 12:6)

If I can help you find clarity—through my words or my work —I’m here for that. You don’t need to do more to lead well. You just need to own your influence—from your NOW level to your NEXT level.
